Meet Jamie! After years spent building a life rooted in relationships and problem-solving, she found herself drawn back to something much more personal: caring for people the way her own family once cared for her grandmother, Joan.
Jamie's path wasn't a straight line to this work; it was a slow recognition of what she valued most. Having lived with and helped care for Joan in her later years, she saw up close what it looks like when someone is supported well, and what it costs the people who show up for them every day. That experience became a conviction: that the way we care for older adults matters enormously, and that families deserve something worth trusting. When she built Joan's Care, it was to be exactly that.
As both a people person and a systems thinker, Jamie brings warmth and rigor in equal measure. She believes independence isn't something to be lost, but something to be protected, and she takes pride in giving clients the kind of steady, capable support that lets them stay fully themselves. She draws on her relational instincts and analytical mind to ensure your loved ones feel respected, heard, and genuinely cared for.
In her free time, Jamie can be found hiking and fly fishing quiet mountain rivers, four-wheeling backcountry roads, or playing volleyball and pickleball with her husband and friends. She's an avid reader, drinks entirely too much coffee, and nearly considers her dog her biological child.

Meet Kalyn! After ten years of serving her community as a preschool teacher and paraprofessional, she felt a calling to channel her passion for helping others into a new direction. When she connected with Joan's Care, she was deeply moved by our dedication to treating clients with absolute dignity, attentiveness, and gratitude.
Her journey has also taken her through roles as a floral designer, travel agent, and prep cook. She realized that whether she is providing nutrition, planning an adventure, or crafting a heartfelt gift, her true passion was delivering meaningful service to people in her community. As an excellent listener and a creative problem solver, she takes pride in seeing the positive in challenging situations and staying focused on quality solutions. She draws upon her diverse background, ensuring that your loved ones feel heard, valued, and exceptionally cared for.
In her free time, she enjoys nature, coddiwompling, reading poetry and science fiction, and stargazing.

Every employee undergoes a thorough federal and criminal background check before official hiring, along with a rigorous interview process designed to identify not just skill, but character.
We verify driving records with zero tolerance for risk: no accidents, no tickets, for a minimum of three years, and every team member must pass a hands-on driving test to prove it in practice.
Driving Safety Check & Evaluation
Even though our policy is to always call 911 in an emergency, all employees are certified in CPR (Basic Life Support) and First Aid, so they're prepared to act if the unexpected happens.

Before anyone represents our company, they go through comprehensive, ongoing training to ensure they meet our standards every single day, not just on day one.
